Everyone regardless of his stature in life, should aim high but must perseveringly take up the trials and obstacles to be able to obtain what his mind and heart desire.

All would like to succeed, but how much will you pay for it? How much can you endure and how long can you wait?

But there is a “stern warning.” Be sure that whatever we wish to successfully undertake is one that GOD and GOODNESS sanction. Once our body, heart, mind and spirit are in accord to God’s calling, let us be like a steel in our determination and put our strength to its realization.

Most importantly, let us not forget “SOMEONE” up there who gives us that “will power to conceive and achieve.” He is always reminding us that whoever allows GOD to work through HIM, nothing is impossible and nobody will fail.

THE FACE SHOP

Ask anyone what body part she or he most to be protected, taken cared of and changed for the better and almost 9 out 10 will answer, “it’s the face.”

Yes, the face is the most well-loved, most pampered and most attended part of the body. Improving and enhancing the facial beauty is the most well-linked beauty tips that everybody will by no means neglect or take for granted.

Faces of all shapes, color, texture and beauty capture everybody’s eyes. Ask anyone what he wants to see first in a person and he will answer, “it’s the face.” The face is said to be the “mirror of the soul.” Oh, how mysterious, awesome and amazing can a face be!

But there is a face that brings mixed feelings of joy and fear to everyone. For some, just the thought of seeing this face makes them tremble with fear and sadness. For others, they have kept an longing to see this face, and this mere longing to see it makes them joyful and peaceful.

Whose face is it? It is the face of our Creator the God Almighty whom we want to see face to face.

WIDENING MY WORLD

Being at home the whole day and just doing any household chore I feel like doing makes me bored. That was not my work routine for the past forty five (45) years. I led a very busy life teaching and at the same time helping my husband managed our small family business.

Now I stay at home and take care of my husband who is diabetic and also had a stroke very recently.

At first, I cannot accept what I am doing, but thanks to my Christian upbringing, I am now beginning to appreciate and see the message God is giving me. I do my daily chores in my new role as a wife, a home-grown nurse and a trying-hard dietician all rolled into one. I learn in these daily activities that God is giving me strength in body, patience and understanding. Day by day, He is giving me divine power that gives me inner peace with what I am doing.

My daily chores now include: injecting insulin, taking sugar level and preparing suggested food for diabetics. But best of all, now I am spending time to read especially inspirational books and honing my infant ability to write. I enjoy every moment doing these things with these I know God is transforming me by widening my world.

Lord, thank you!!!

TIME

“Time” according to a Greek philosopher, “is the most valuable thing a man can spend.” Time is the only thing that everyone owns uniformly, no more, no less. Yes, rich or poor, young or old, black or white, everybody is gifted with the same number of hours, minutes and seconds wherever we maybe. It is how we use time that makes a difference in our life. Our successes and failures are the results of how we make use of our time.

Many successful people have found the hidden secrets of time. And they used them to their advantage. They know that there is no assurance of tomorrow and it is only the present that matters. They start on time whatever they wish to do.

Tardiness and procrastination are aliens to them and they put their best effort in their use of time.

It is reality that our state of being now is the product of what we did to our time yesterday and our tomorrow could be very well gleaned with what we are doing with our time today. It is how we invest our time that determines the quality and quantity of life’s blessings and achievements.

But in the realm of Spiritual Growth, it is different. Although the essence of time in terms of quality and quantity in God’s gift of salvation, GOD in His-all-knowing, all-seeing and all-loving grace does not hurry. Our Christian life attains maturity and becomes fruitful by the principle of growth which is not uniform in speed and development for all of us. For some, it takes a short time and for others, it takes year and still for unlucky ones, Spiritual Growth does not take place at all.

But as Christians, we must not lose hope. Everyday, let us be renewed in heart, mind and spirit and feel confident teach if we place our faith in Jesus Christ in “His Time” we will reap His blessings of love and salvation.

BE SMART, FEEL SMART

We used to hear these expressions of owe and admiration being address to women “How smart” “Very smart.”

To be smart does not only take beauty as its prime element. To be dressed in the most fashionable and latest style is also short of being smart. Even those who earn strings of degrees cannot boast also of being smart. So what really is being smart, and who can be really smart?

Diana Booher in her book “Ten smart moves for women” describes smart women to be:

-reacting to adversity with hope and confidence about the future.
-taking responsibility for themselves.
-continuously learning essential life’s skills that contribute to their own well-being and that of others.

To sum up, smart women continue to learn. They learn from that failures and successes. They grow, they change for the better.

SEASONS OF LIFE

According to the writer of Ecclesiastes in the bible: There is a time for everything.

A season for every activity under heaven;
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance

In our seasons of life, we succumb to fears, frustrations, boredom and loss. For some, they swim upstream and after winning the life’s trials they become victorious and enjoy life of glamour and affluence.

Our out-of season and in-season phases of life must develop in us self-confidence and seek self-fulfillment to be able to enjoy life to the fullest. Let us savor our life years in joy towards our relationships with family and friends.

We must swim in the seasons of life enjoying in each stage and savoring the thrills and challenges that make life colorful. Feelings of disappointments, distress and desperation must never fill our pent-up emotions. Instead, let us focus on the daily happening and put our best efforts to win the day’s journey with our fervent hope for the best to come.

Looking at our future, let us strive to do the best and wait in excitement, peace and promise. Let us throw our heart’s door and window to God’s promise of life of peace and joy with Him.

SPIRITUAL GROWTH

The idea of growth basically has its full dimension. Growth is linked to vertical and horizontal footages when applied to plants, animals and even human beings. Weight and linear measure are also elements of growth.

But there’s one kind of growth that human measurement cannot quantify nor qualify. It is growth with Me, but growing with Me needs a lot of preparation. Like seed-sowing -------- the ground needs to be prepared in order for Me to drop the richest and the choicest of spiritual growth that brings life to the fullest.

But yours is to prepare the soil and mine to drop the seed blessing and together we share in the joy of plentiful harvest.

HARMONY NOT JEALOUSLY

Time and time again in all ages, men and women compete with each other, be in homes, in business organizations and in whatever field of human endeavor. Sometimes arguments in this competition find roofs in God creations where men boast in claiming that woman was extracted from the ribs of a man. With this claim, men contend that women must give way to the likings of men.

Yes, human jealousy is one frailty of human nature and you must not expect to live in complete harmony. There will always be clashes, rivalry and competitions which make life colorful and challenging. It is your personal task to maintain your heart peace in adverse circumstances.

My dear children, there will be harmony within if you follow my guidance. Because here’s the bottom line “Men need Women and Women need Men.”
